Gina Wenxuan Qiao

I find it hard to define what kind of designer I am shortly since I am not always engaged in the same line of work, no matter if it is in terms of the topic or methodology. I am always exploring. Yet, I did discover one thread that runs consistently through it all:

I care about the human condition in the world - how they live, how they feel, how they confront war and conflict, how they develop and understand their culture and history, and most importantly, how they come to terms with themselves.

Design is a tool, while well-being in such a chaotic world is always the ultimate goal.

Love and Peace.

Shanghai in the Dust (2024 - 2025)
Comprehensive Study: dIgital Rendering, documentary photography, research essay, urban rennovation, social justice
Every time I return to Shanghai, there is a sense that city's longtime residents and traditional culture are gradually fading away. Where, then, is Shanghai's future headed?

May I, like the sky and the earth, forever support the lives of all the boundless beings.
